Forgings

Metal Forging is the process of shaping metal using localized compressive forces, blows are delivered using a power hammer or die.  Forgings are classified according to the temperature which it is created at, for example, cold forging, warm forging or hot forging.  Forged parts can range from less a kilogram to hundred of metric tons.  Forgings are used for parts that need to be strong and will generally require further processing such as machining.  These components are specific to the customers drawing which includes a variety of materials, finishes or assemblies upon request.
